Hyakuten Inamoto
Hyakuten is from Kyoto, Japan and is a mendicant Buddhist monk,
independent and nonsectarian. He is also a Reiki master,
who received his training in the original Japanese style from
Mrs. Yamaguchi, who learned directly from Dr. Hayashi. Hyakuten
is fourth in line to Usui sensei.
He has also served as the English translator for many of Doi
sensei’s Reiki classes as well as for those of Mrs. Yamaguchi
and her son Tadao.
Hyakuten is a very warm and personable teacher with a deep
spiritual nature. "As I live a life one day at a
time, or I lead a life just for today, and just for today I
live, there is for me no yesterday (past), no tomorrow (future),
but this moment, right now just as I am."
Hyakuten’s Reiki Retreat Presentations:
• A talk and discussion on Reiki in Japan. The talk
will include Reiki history and how it is currently practiced
in Japan by the various Reiki Japanese schools.
• Reiki and Buddhism.
• Mini workshop: Hyakuten will teach one or more
of the meditations or healing techniques taught by Dr. Usui.

Mari Hall
Mari Hall is the Founder and Director of the International
Association of Reiki. She will be traveling from her home in
the Czech Republic to share her wisdom with us.
Mari has authored "Practical Reiki", "Reiki
for Common Ailments", "Reiki for the Soul", and
"Reiki practical ways to Harmony".
Mari’s presentations:
Listening to the body and responding with Reiki
Mari will help us learn to understand how the body responds
and just what the body, mind and spirit of the individual you
are working with is saying to you and how Reiki helps you respond
from the center of your being.
Body Molding with Reiki
Learn to apply Reiki in a way that reminds the body of it’s
original state of being. Help your body remember by simply holding
areas and feeling the blocks release and change.This is very
sensitive work that Mari has been doing with beautiful success
to help recover from traumas. Learn to use your sensitivity,
which Reiki heightens, to help others.

William Lee Rand
William is President of the International Center for Reiki
Training. He is author of Reiki the Healing Touch", "Reiki
for a New Millenium", "The Spirit of Reiki" which
he wrote with Arjava Petter and Walter Lubeck.

Ulla Suokko
Ulla is a Registered Karuna ReikiŪ master. She holds a Doctor
of Musical Arts degree from The Juilliard School and enjoys
a versatile international career as a concert flutist, performing
artist, Reiki master and workshop leader. Ulla will offer her
special gifts through a presentation of:
Magical Musical Journeys
Ulla will present a flute performance and workshop designed
to explore the healing and transformational powers of music.
She will also accompany some of the group meditations on the

Michael Arthur Baird
Michael’s 12 years of Reiki experience, his shamanistic
studies, and his inner guidance have led him to develop a powerful
Reiki technique known as Reiki Drumming. Reiki drumming incorporates
the use of a Shaman style drum with Reiki. This technique facilitates
Reiki, by transforming the energy into sound waves which carry
Reiki very deep within a person’s being and to all levels
of the energy bodies.
Michael will conduct two mini-workshops:
• Introduction to basic Reiki drumming techniques.
• A Reiki drumming journey to assist the participants in
freeing themselves from a time in their past when they were

Laurelle Shanti Gaia
Laurelle is author of "The Book On Karuna ReikiŪ . . .
Advanced Healing Energy for Our Evolving World". She serves
the ICRT as Director of the Teacher Licensing Program and Editor
of Reiki News.
Laurelle is recognized for her ability to receive and translate
information from the Divine heart and mind, as well as the angelic
realms. This information is received by Laurelle as a language
of light, which Reiki then helps her translate into words and
images. She shares this gift through guided meditation journeys.
Laurelle’s presentations will include:
