How is the Weather in Sedona?
The sun shines in Sedona 300+ days a year. Our weather is magnificent!
Sedona is between Flagstaff and Phoenix, however our climate is very different from the cold, snowy climate in Flagstaff and Phoenix’s hot desert conditions.
Sedona is an oasis between the desert and mountains.
The elevation of Phoenix is 1,000 feet above sea level and Flagstaff is 7,000 feet. Sedona is nestled at 4,500 feet and offers a mild, comfortable climate. We average only 8 inches of snow annually, which usually disappears within a day.
Records and Averages – Sedona
We are in the high mountain desert, while it is usually sunny and warm during the day, it gets cool at night. In spring, summer and autumn it is wise to have a light jacket, or sweater for the evenings, even though you may be comfortable in shorts during the day. In winter a winter jacket is suggested for the nights, and heavy sweaters are usually comfortable during the day.

Hi Sue…the reason it seemed that your message was not coming through is that we monitor all messages and they are only approved about once per week. I did reply to an email you sent me, and I believe you also spoke to our office. If you need additional help please feel free to call the office 928-203-7755 or email me again. Love and blessings, Laurelle
I have been trying to send you a message through this system, but it doesn’t seem to go through so I will try one more time Please,I need your guidance as to whether or not taking 4 classes (Karuna Reiki, Drumming class, and Crystal Healing both beginning and intermediate level)would be too much emotionally for a person to take. I have taken Karuna Reiki from another teacher and now I am strongly drawn to coming to Peace Place to take it from you this March along with the other classes. I feel I have been guided here to ask for your guidance. I apologize if you have already received my request, but I don’t believe it is connecting. Thank you so much for all you both do. Namaste

Hi Laurelle and Michael and Reiki Family,
I beg your pardon if there is a specific page for Reiki requests, I looked around and didn’t find one. This is all I could find. My sister called and her baby is going to come early, as in the next couple of days. She is only at 33 weeks which is a gray area but her baby will still be early. I am making a Reiki request for both my sister and her baby. They are up in MT. Her name is Cheline Winegart. Thank you ahead of time to all who would please consider them with some long distance love and light,
Gabriele we are 2 hours from the Phoenix airport and 45 minutes from the Flagstaff airport. It is always best to fly in the day before so you are rested for class.
Hi I would like to know how long it will take from the airport to the Peace Center…cannot find any information on it….would like to attend the Reiki drumming course, but flight does not come in before 9.28…would i miss a lot of the class
Cheers Gabriele

Hi Sarah. Yes you start with Reiki I & II first and you will learn a lot about Reiki and have opportunities to practice. We don’t have lodging, but there are several places to stay within walking distance. You can find a list of them on our website at http://www.ReikiInSedona.com and click on the link for lodging. If you have other questions, feel free to call us at 928-204-1216 from 9-5. Blessings, Laurelle & Michael
I have never done a Reiki class before, as a first timer should I start with Reiki 1 and 2 class?
Also does your center ever provide lodging for the students and that is our own responsibility?
Thank you
Stop in to see us when you are in town, and ask to fill out an application. We never know when we might need someone. Peace and blessings, Laurelle
Hello, I have just been told by a psychic that I will be going to Sedona as part of my spiritual journey. I am one of William Rand’s Karuna Reiki students. I have also just completed a teachers training course to teach adults. I was wondering , I know itsaa a long shot, but would there be any work out there for me to do. I am keen to use reiki and to teach?
Hi Donna – we don’t offer them, but there are many reputable people in Sedona, who do. We do have some great vortex books and a free vortex map. Many people like to use those materials and explore on there own. If you are looking for a guide, I suggest you find one on http://www.SedonaSpiritual.com everyone there is affiliated with the Sedona Chamber of Commerce and has agreed to a Code of Ethics. Blessings – Laurelle
Do you offer guided tours of vortex sites?
