Driving Directions
Roaring Brook is a short 2 miles southwest of Lake George.
From the south: From NYS Thruway to Exit 24 (Albany) to the Northway I-87 to Exit 21. Turn left on to Rt. 9N. Approximately 1 mile to left turn onto Roaring Brook Driveway.
From the north: Northway I-87 to Exit 21. Turn right on to Rt. 9N. Approximately 1 mile to left turn onto Roaring Brook Driveway.
Need transportation from the Albany Airport?
Greyhound/Trailways Bus - A 2 hour drive due to multiple stops, but the pickup is right at the airport and drop off somewhere in Lake George. Roaring Brook Ranch will be able to pick up guests from the bus. Cost roundtrip is about $50 plus tax. Departures from airport on 8/29 are 2:45 and 4:30. Departures from Lake George on 9/1 are 10:55 and 6:15. Prices and schedules are subject to change and reservations are HIGHLY recommended CLICK HERE for Greyhound/Trailways website.
By Train
AMTRAK serves New York City to Montreal with daily stops in Fort Edward, about 15 miles from the Lake George Area. Car rentals, taxi and Greater Glens Falls Transit System shuttles (by appointment—518-792-1085) are available from the station.
If you arrive by bus, and need a ride to the retreat center, please let us know in advance, and we will provide the phone number for you to call when you arrive.

What to bring with you to this Retreat:
Clothing – we suggest clothing that can be layered so you are prepared for either warm or cool weather. If you would like to hike, remember your hiking shoes. This is a CASUAL event, so please dress for comfort.
Please bring a bottle for water. You may also want to bring a flashlight, and insect repellant if you plan to spend much time outdoors
If you are driving to the retreat and can bring a Reiki table for Reiki shares, please do.
