Neil Anthony is a former TV producer, is a co-founder of UK Reiki Federation, the professional body and the umbrella organization in England for Reiki, formed in 1998, in response to the initiative prompted by the HRH Prince Charles for a fully integrated healthcare service in the UK.  In developing National Occupational Standards, Neil’s recent focus has been the process of ‘voluntary self regulation.’

His study and work with subtle energy has taken him to remote communities to experience the rich diversity and multiplicity of spiritual practice, whilst also celebrating the underpinning Oneness of humanity.

As a therapist he was fortunate to be able to test his beliefs and theories not only in new age settings but also in a very ‘grounded’ way for 10 years working professionally in prisons – including Europe’s maximum secure jail working with severely traumatized serious offenders – also with the homeless and the rough sleepers of central London, and with drug addictions working in rehabs.
