Frank
Arjava Petter (Arjava) is originally German, but
has been living in Japan since 1992 with his wife Chetna.
His professional life has been quite varied including being
an organic farmer to being one of the body- guards of the
Indian Mystic Osho. This wide variety of jobs has taught him
how to work with people of all ages from different races,
cultures and backgrounds. Communication, he says, is the key
to unlocking the door to freedom.
Arjava has
been teaching Reiki since 1993 but his deeper and internationally
celebrated involvement with Reiki began six years ago when
he "discovered the grave and memorial of Dr. Usui
in Tokyo and original documents by Dr. Usui and his students.
His initial research culminated in the publication of his
first book "Reiki Fire which was followed
by "Reiki, the legacy of Dr. Usui, "The
original Reiki Handbook of Dr. Mikao Usui" and The
Spirit of Reiki in collaboration with Walter Lübeck
and William Rand. In the fall of 2002, two more titles will
be available.
Since 1998,
he has been traveling all over the globe lecturing and teaching
Dr. Usui's original Japanese Reiki techniques that have not
been taught in the West before. In his workshops he brings
together East and West and Reiki practitioners from all schools,
healing the wounds of the past.
Arjava will
be facilitating us in a therapeutic technique to unify and
celebrate our sameness.
